# Plans and limits

Every organization is on a **plan**, and the plan defines a set of **limits**. There's
no billing flow in 42min today — the plan is just the set of caps your organization
gets. Admins see it on the [**Plans**](/360/plans) page.

## What's capped

A plan sets a maximum for each of:

- **Users** in the organization,
- **Event types** (per user),
- **Routing forms**,
- **Teams**,
- **Bookings per month**,
- **SMS messages per month**,
- **Emails per month**,
- **Tags**.

The [Plans](/360/plans) page shows your current plan and how your usage compares to
each cap.

## What happens at a limit

When you hit a cap, 42min stops the action that would exceed it and tells you why —
for example, you can't invite another [user](/help/team-and-admin/inviting-users) past
the user limit, or create another event type past the event-type limit. The monthly
caps (bookings, SMS, email) reset each month.

## How to do it

1. Open [**Plans**](/360/plans) to see your plan and usage.
2. If you're near a cap, tidy up (deactivate unused users, archive event types you
don't need) or get in touch about a larger plan.

## Common pitfalls

- **"Can't create / invite" out of nowhere.** You've hit a limit — check Plans;
  the message names which one.
- **Monthly counters.** Bookings/SMS/email caps are per calendar month and reset — a
spike near month-end can pause new bookings until the rollover.
- **Per-user vs org-wide.** The event-type cap is per user; the others are org-wide.
One person hitting their event-type cap doesn't block teammates.
