Does TidyCal support webhooks?

No, on any plan. TidyCal's help centre states it does not offer native webhook support, and its public API is version 0.1 with no webhooks section. The Zapier app has seven triggers, no actions, and polls on a schedule rather than firing instantly, so downstream automations can lag. 42min ships signed webhooks with a delivery log and automatic failure pausing on the free plan.

Does TidyCal have routing forms or workflows?

No. TidyCal's own comparison pages recommend a different tool if you need routing logic or workflows, and conditional routing remains an open request on its public roadmap. 42min includes routing forms with AND/OR rules, multi-step forms that chain into a decision tree, response analytics with CSV export, and a workflow builder with five triggers — all free.

Does TidyCal have round robin?

Yes, on the $79 Agency tier and on Pro. It assigns by priority level with a random tie-break, and TidyCal's documentation notes there is no workload tracking and no sequential rotation. 42min's round robin is free and assigns by fewest recent meetings, so the load actually evens out.

How many calendars can TidyCal connect?

One on the free plan, ten on Individual, and twenty-five on Agency and Pro — across Google, Microsoft and Apple only. There's no Zoho, Fastmail, Yahoo, Yandex, on-premises Exchange or generic CalDAV. 42min connects all eight of those provider types and lets you add more than one on the free plan.

What does TidyCal do that 42min doesn't?

Payments, mainly. TidyCal takes money through the booking page — Stripe and PayPal, packages, subscriptions, discount codes and a storefront — and 42min has none of that. TidyCal also offers a custom domain and a simple website builder. If your booking page is really a checkout, TidyCal is the better tool and we'd rather say so.

Is 42min really free?

Yes. There's no billing in 42min today and no credit card to enter — routing forms, workflows, webhooks, round robin, teams and analytics are all on the free plan. If paid plans arrive later, we intend to keep a genuinely useful free tier.

How long does moving from TidyCal take?

About ten minutes. Your bookings live in your calendar rather than inside TidyCal, so there's nothing to export — connect the calendar, rebuild your booking types, and swap the link in your signature and on your site.

TidyCal can take a booking. What it can't do is tell the rest of your stack that one happened. There are no webhooks on any plan — TidyCal's own help centre says so, and its public roadmap carries four separate open webhook requests, all still marked “Gathering votes”. Its Zapier app has seven triggers, zero actions, and polls on a schedule rather than firing instantly. The public API is version 0.1 with eighteen endpoints and no availability routes. The MCP endpoint is read-only.

Webhooks, not polling

Six event types, a signing secret you can rotate, a delivery log, and automatic pausing when an endpoint keeps failing. TidyCal has no webhook support at any price — four separate requests for it sit open on its public roadmap.

An API you can build on

Version 1, with OAuth 2.1 + PKCE, scoped tokens, idempotency keys and optimistic locking on writes. TidyCal's API is version 0.1 — eighteen endpoints, no availability routes.

An assistant that can act

42min's MCP server exposes around two dozen tools that read and write, so an AI assistant can actually book, reschedule and cancel. TidyCal's MCP endpoint is read-only, on paid plans.

One language for the whole account

TidyCal's booking pages localise, but the language is a single account-wide setting and its admin interface is English only. 42min sets the booking language per event type — a French page and a Japanese page in one account — and runs the dashboard itself in any of twelve languages.
