If a department edits a theme's colors, the theme editor flags any text that falls below the contrast the standard asks for. Public universities and colleges under ADA Title II, including what they provide through vendors: by April 26, 2027 for public entities with a population of 50,000 or more, and by April 26, 2028 for smaller ones and special districts. Institutions that receive HHS funding under Section 504: by May 11, 2027 with 15 or more employees, and by May 10, 2028 with fewer. Private universities under Title III have no date in the regulation, but WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard courts and settlements use. 42min's booking pages meet it now, ahead of those dates.
