    What is a meeting poll?

Instead of sending one person a booking link, a meeting poll proposes several candidate times to a group, lets everyone mark which ones work, and then books the time that suits the most people. It's the tool for “let's find a time that works for all of us” — and it works even with people who don't use 42min and never sign in. In 42min, meeting polls are called Roundtables.

Paint candidate times on your real availability, set the rules, and publish — voters mark the slots that work in their own time zone.

    Why teams use meeting polls

    NO ACCOUNT NEEDED

Anyone can vote with a link

Clients, candidates, and partners who've never heard of 42min just open a link and mark the times that work. Voting happens in their own time zone, so nobody does the math.

    NO DOUBLE-BOOKING

    Candidate times are held

While a poll collects votes, 42min places a tentative hold on your calendar for every proposed slot — so a time can't get booked out from under you before the group decides.

    HANDS-OFF OPTION

    Auto-book the best time

Let 42min lock in the winning time automatically once a quorum has voted — the slot with the most Yes votes, never one nobody said Yes to. Or keep control and book it yourself.

    FREE FOR EVERYONE

    No per-seat plan

Group polling comes free with 42min, for every user you invite — no upgrade, no credit card, no per-seat bill.

    // HOW IT WORKS

From poll to booked in 4 steps

    01

    Pick an event type

A poll is built on one of your existing event types, so the duration, location (Google Meet, Teams, phone, in person), reminders, and workflows are all inherited — you're only finding the time, not redefining the meeting.

    02

    Propose candidate times

Click and drag across your real availability to paint the slots you want to offer — anywhere from one up to 128. The calendar only shows times you're genuinely free, minus conflicts, buffers, and minimum notice.

    03

Share the link & collect votes

Publish to mint one shareable link, or invite specific people by email for personal voting links. Everyone marks the times that work — no 42min account needed.

    04

    Book the winning time

When responses are in, book the best time in one click. 42min creates the meeting on your calendar and emails everyone — exactly as if it had been booked through the normal page.

The Results grid: see exactly who voted for what, then book the winning time in one click.

Built for the way your group works

Choose how people reach the poll and how much they can see.

    Anyone with the link

42min mints one shareable link. Anyone who opens it adds their name and email and votes. Best for larger or open groups where you don't have a fixed list.

    Specific people

Add invitees by email and each gets a personal voting link. Mark anyone Required — a time can't be booked until they respond — and 42min automatically nudges people who haven't voted.

    Open voting

Voters see a live count of how many people picked each time, so momentum builds toward the popular slots.

    Blind voting

Voters only ever see their own choices; the full tally stays yours alone on the Results tab.

When to use a meeting poll

Any time more than one person needs to agree on a time.

    Team meetings across calendars

Find the one slot that clears everyone's schedule without a dozen back-and-forth emails.

    External groups

Clients, candidates, or partners who don't use 42min vote with just a link — no account, no friction.

    Interview panels & workshops

Gather availability from several interviewers or attendees, then commit to the time most of them can make.

    Recurring syncs

Poll the group once to lock in a standing time for a new weekly or monthly meeting.

    Meeting polls FAQ

A meeting poll lets you propose several candidate times to a group, have everyone mark which ones work for them, and then book the time that suits the most people. It replaces the back-and-forth of “does Tuesday at 3 work for everyone?” emails. In 42min this feature is called a Roundtable.

    Stop chasing everyone's availability

Propose times, let the group vote, book the winner — free, with no per-seat bill and no account required for your invitees.
