Are the 42min triggers instant?

Yes. When you turn on a Zap with a 42min trigger, Zapier registers its own webhook with 42min for that event, and 42min sends each booking over within seconds. Zapier doesn't have to poll, so your Zapier plan's update interval doesn't apply. Turning the Zap off removes the webhook again.

Can a Zap book a meeting in 42min?

Yes, with the Create Booking action. Give it an event type, a start time, and the attendee's email (a name is optional). 42min books it the way your booking page would: the time has to be free and in the future, the invitee gets the confirmation email, and the meeting is added to the host's calendar.

Should I use Zapier or n8n?

Use Zapier if you want to build without code and the apps you use are already on Zapier. Use n8n if you'd rather run the automation on your own server or need custom logic between the trigger and the action, like checking a webhook signature or branching on your own rules. Both get the same booking events.

What happens when I disconnect Zapier?

Zapier loses access to your 42min account right away, so its actions and searches stop working. Zaps that are still on keep the webhooks they registered and can go on receiving new bookings. Turn your 42min Zaps off in Zapier first, then click Disconnect in 42min.

How to connect 42min to Zapier

Pick a 42min trigger in Zapier

Create a Zap, search for 42min, and choose a trigger such as Booking Created. The app is public, so there's nothing to install and no access to request.

Sign in to 42min and click Allow

When Zapier asks for an account, a 42min window opens. Sign in, read what Zapier will be able to do, and click Allow. There's no API key to copy and no webhook URL to paste.

Test, add a step, publish
