Languages
42min is localized into a dozen languages — English, Spanish, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Russian, Chinese (Simplified), German, French, Italian, Polish, Japanese, and Korean. Dates, times, and numbers format per the chosen locale too.
Where language is set
- Your interface language — set it on Profile → Personal (the Language field). It controls the dashboard and your account emails.
- A booking page's language — set per event type on the editor's General tab (the Booking Page Language field). This is what the invitee sees on that event type's public page and in its emails — independent of your interface language.
- A routing form's language — set per routing form on the builder's Settings tab.
So you can run the dashboard in English while a particular event type's booking page greets invitees in Portuguese — pick the language for each, separately.
How to do it
- Interface: Profile → Personal → set Language → save.
- A booking page: open the event type → General tab → set Booking Page Language.
- A routing form: open the routing form → Settings tab → set Language.
Common pitfalls
- Booking page in the wrong language. That's the event type's booking-page language, not your profile language — change it on the event type.
- Free-text doesn't translate. Localization covers the interface and templates; text you write (a public description, a custom question, a workflow email body) is shown as you wrote it — translate it yourself if your audience needs it.
- Expecting a language that isn't listed. The supported set is the dozen above; if yours isn't there yet, English is the fallback.
