    Leads (contacts)

Every time someone books a meeting, 42min remembers them. The Leads page is that running list of contacts — name, email, phone (if they gave one), how many meetings they've had with you, any tags, and when they first appeared.

    What it is

    • Auto-created from bookings. You don't have to add anyone — the first time a person books, they become a lead. Book again and their Meetings count goes up.
    • Searchable. The search box filters by name or email.
    • One row per person, with their meeting history — open a lead to see every booking they've made with you and when.
    • Add Lead — manually create a contact (name + email, optionally phone), e.g. before reaching out to someone who hasn't booked yet.
    • Export CSV — download the list (respecting the current search) as a spreadsheet.
Leads — everyone who's booked with you, auto-collected. Search to find someone, Add Lead to enter one manually, Export CSV to take the list with you.

    Tags

Tags are short labels (e.g. enterprise, VIP, partner) you can attach to a lead — or to a booking — to slice things later. They show in the Tags column here and on the Meetings list, and you can filter Meetings by tag. Tags are managed alongside event types.

    When to use it

    • Look someone up before a call — "have we met before? how many times?"
    • Build a list to export into a CRM or an email tool.
    • Add a prospect manually so they're in the system before the first meeting.
    • Tag and segment the people who book with you.

    Common pitfalls

    • Duplicate-looking contacts. A lead is keyed on email — if someone books once with a work address and once with a personal one, they'll appear twice. Be consistent, or merge by exporting and tidying.
    • "I deleted a lead but the meetings are still there." Removing a contact doesn't delete their past bookings — those stay in the Meetings list and the analytics.
    • Phone is blank. It's only filled if the booking form asked for a phone number and the invitee provided one.
    • Not a full CRM. Leads is a lightweight contact list, not a sales pipeline — if you need stages and deals, push the data to a real CRM (e.g. via the Pipedrive integration) or export the CSV.
